There are 5 different operations available when editing the list of media files in the
media step:

Reordering media file definitions
Media file definitions are reordered by dragging them with the mouse to the desired location.
While dragging, the insertion bar shows you where the media file definition would be dropped.
The order of media files determines the order in which the media files are generated. Reordering is
mainly provided for the purpose of letting you arrange the media file definitions according to
your personal preferences.

Copying media file definitions
Media file definitions are copied by

copy-dragging a media file definition with the mouse to the desired location
(e.g. on Windows, press
CTRL while dragging, the mouse cursor will add a small plus
sign to its shape). While copy-dragging, the insertion bar shows you where the copy
of the media file definition would be created.

Choosing Copy media file from the context sensitive menu. The copy
will be placed at the end of the list.

Choosing Media->Copy media file from install4j's main menu.
The copy will be placed at the end of the list.

Clicking on the corresponding
tool bar button
while the media file definition is selected. The copy will be placed at the end of the list.
The name of the copied media file definition will be prefixed with "Copy of". You can change
this default name by renaming the media file definition (see below).

Renaming media file definitions
Media file definitions can be renamed by
- Choosing Rename media file from the context sensitive menu.
- Choosing Media->Rename media file from install4j's main menu
An input dialog will be displayed where the current name can be edited. Please note that except for the
%SETNAME% variable used in the
media file options,
the name of the media file is not used in the distribution but is for your own information only.

Deleting media files definitions
Media file definitions can be deleted by
- Hitting the
DEL key while the media file definition is selected.
- Choosing Delete media file from the context sensitive menu.
- Choosing Media->Delete media file from install4j's main menu

Clicking on the corresponding
tool bar button
while the media file definition is selected.
A warning message will be displayed prior to the actual deletion.

Editing a media file definition
Media file definitions can be edited by
- Hitting the
ENTER key while the media file definition is selected.
- Choosing Edit media file from the context sensitive menu.
- Choosing Media->Edit media file from install4j's main menu

Clicking on the corresponding
tool bar button
while the media file definition is selected.
The appropriate media wizard will be
displayed for the selected media file definition. Please note that you can directly
access any step in the wizard by clicking on it in the index.
